Applications:

BituPlus Bitumen Emulsion CRS2 is well-suited for various applications, including:

Surface Dressing This process involves the application of one or two coats, with each coat comprising a layer of bituminous binder that is expertly sprayed onto a meticulously prepared base. Subsequently, a layer of stone chips is applied and then thoroughly rolled to create a robust wearing course. RS-2 type cationic bitumen emulsion stands out as the ideal choice for surface dressing on road shoulders and for providing protection to freshly laid base courses. As per the (MORTH&H) clause 510.2 guidelines, the recommended application rate for a two-coat surface dressing is 28-32 kg/10 sq.m.
Grouting For cost-effective low-volume road construction, you can create a unified base and wearing course by applying HPCPL RS-2 cationic bitumen emulsion to the compacted aggregates that have been laid. This application is viable even in the presence of moisture in the stone layer.
Penetration Macadam This procedure entails the construction of one or more layers of densely compacted coarse crushed aggregates. During construction, a bituminous binder and key aggregate are alternately applied. This method is employed as a base course for roads, in accordance with the specifications outlined in the overall pavement design
Sand Seal Application of bituminous sand to an existing pavement surface to seal it and serve as a lightweight wearing course.
